Landscape Project Warranty Specifications

Following are the complete, detailed warranty specifications promised by Yava Landscape.  Items not listed under these warranty specifications are not covered by Yava Landscape.

Terms and Conditions:

            The warranty carried by Yava Landscape is only valid when the Landscape Project Completion Contract is signed by the property owner(s) and returned to Yava Landscape, PO Box 281266, San Francisco, CA, 94128, within 10 business days after project completion.

            Any partial or whole reconstruction, repairs, and other modifications done to the landscape project(s) by the property owner(s) voids the warranty carried by Yava Landscape.

            Planting materials such as sod, perennial trees and shrubs are covered under this warranty.  The warranty becomes void if the specified care instructions provided by Yava Landscape were not followed by the property owner(s) or other landscape management services.   This warranty excludes coverage for annual bulbs and other herbaceous plants.  Live animals are NOT covered under this warranty.

            This warranty covers landscape projects constructed or implemented by Yava Landscape under normal usage conditions.  This warranty DOES NOT cover damages caused by extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, insect infestation, and/or accidental events such as fire and/or lawnmower damage.

Landscape project items and their conditions for warranty:

Planting Materials:  Aquatic plants, sod, perennial trees and shrubs are covered under this warranty only when the care instructions provided by Yava Landscape are followed.  Damages caused by external factors such as foot traffic and/or animal behavior are NOT covered under this warranty.

Wooden structures:  Fences, decks, trellises, and other wooden structures constructed by Yava Landscape are covered under this warranty for 3 years after completion.  If any of the wooden structure should fail under normal usage, Yava Landscape will be responsible and will repair the damage any without charge to the customer.  This warranty DOES NOT cover weathering, such as color fading and sun damage.

Concrete works:  Breakages larger than 6”x6” areas are covered under this warranty.  Concrete work will crack naturally and the cracks do not affect its structural integrity.  Damages caused by heavy load and/or collision are NOT covered under this warranty.  Color variations may be visible where concrete is repaired. 

Other hardscapes:  Other hardscapes such as engineered pavers, brick path, and flagstone patio will be replaced if breakages occur within an individual piece.  Color variations may be visible where it is repaired.

Pond and stream work:  Parts used to construct water features, including the water pump, skimmer, prefabricated waterfalls, and other hardware are under their manufacturer’s warranty.  Please see owner’s manual for details.  Leakage found in any part of a completed pond or stream created by Yava Landscape is covered under this warranty.

Irrigation systems:  Irrigation systems designed and installed by Yava Landscape have a 3 year warranty.  This warranty covers both the irrigation components and the cost of labor.  Any malfunction and/or leakage found in the irrigation system will be repaired free of charge.  This warranty DOES NOT cover failures caused by external factors such as lawnmower or animal damages. 

Instructions on obtaining a Project Warranty:

                        If the landscape improvements done by Yava Landscape should fail within 3 years of completion, please notify Yava Landscape for repair service covered under this warranty.  Simply contact us via e-mail or phone to obtain a landscape project warranty.  Yava Landscape staffs will evalvate the magnitude of damage and make any necessary replacements or repairs. Response time may vary depending on scheduling.

A Friendly Reminder:

                        The warranty is void if the Landscape Project Completion Contract is not signed and returned to Yava Landscape, PO Box. 281266, San Francisco, CA, 94128 within 10 business days.  If you DO NOT receive a notice of receipt, it is the property owner’s responsibility to confirm such contract has been received and filed by Yava Landscape.
